Marketing Desk

How to delete your data

You can delete your Marketing Desk data yourself at any time, or ask us to do it. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Delete a project

Project owners can delete a project and everything in it: its connected channels and their saved access, posts, plans, numbers and link clicks.

  1. Log in and open the project.
  2. Go to Settings and scroll to Danger zone.
  3. Type the project name and click Delete project.

Delete your account

  1. Log in and open any project's Settings.
  2. In Danger zone, enter your password and click Delete my account.

Your login is removed and you leave every project. Projects where you're the only member are deleted too. If you're the only owner of a project that has other people in it, make someone else an owner or delete the project first.

Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram

You can remove Marketing Desk's access in Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find Marketing Desk and click Remove. From then on we can't post or read numbers for your Pages or Instagram accounts, and the channel shows an error in Marketing Desk the next time it's used. The access token we stored stops working, and it's deleted when you delete the channel, the project or your account. Removing the app in Facebook doesn't delete your Marketing Desk account or posts; use the steps above for that.

For LinkedIn, remove access under Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services.

Ask us to delete it

Email [contact email] from the address on your account and say what you'd like deleted (a project or your whole account). We'll confirm and delete it within [30] days. Backups are cleared within [30] days after that.
